Clyde S. Fossum   
   
Clyde Fossum provides warehouse club finance, administration, IT, club operations, real estate and acquisitions expertise to HSA Consulting’ club, cash & carry and retail clients. He has been involved in six (6) international warehouse club acquisition/divestiture transactions over the past 20 years. He has also been CFO at two (2) publicly quoted US retailers. He also provides interim CFO services to our clients.

In 2009, he participated in HSA Consulting LLC joint venture with Organización Soriana (Mexico’s second largest retail group) to acquire Controladora Comercial Mexicana’s 50% stake in Costco de Mexico.

In addition to his work with HSA Consulting, Clyde is the founding partner of RC Capital Group, LLC, providing investment capital, consulting & management services for private manufacturing and multiple Kahala (Blimpie) franchisee clients.

Previously, Clyde was CFO / SVP with SportsTown Inc. a $240 million Atlanta based sporting goods retailer. He was responsible for securing $44 million of asset based bank & PE subordinated debt growth financing; store operating cost reduction initiatives and real estate development.

He was formerly CFO / VP Finance and board member of the $5 billion Pace Membership Warehouse. Clyde was responsible for the initial $322 million sale of independent public quoted Pace to Kmart Corp. and subsequently, completed two (2) successful acquisitions of Makro & $850 million Price Savers chain. He led both post acquisition integration teams. He was responsible for all budgeting, finance, administration, IT functions & also controlled & managed $100 million real estate /construction effort that built 132 US warehouse clubs.
Before joining Pace, as Director of Finance and Accounting, Clyde was an Audit Manager Deloitte & Touché.  Clyde received his B.Sc. Business Administration from University Northern Colorado. He is also a CPA (licensed in Colorado). back»
