Jim Hamilton
Jim Hamilton provides financial and administrative services for our clients (strategy and business planning, financing, development of financial and administrative processes/controls, IT and reporting process improvement/implementation, development of retail customer communications and reporting processes and infrastructure, business process improvement and cost reduction services). He has 21 years experience in financial positions, primarily with medium sized private and publicly held companies. Jim also provides interim CFO services for HSA Consulting clients.
Jim was formerly Chief Financial Officer of United Cutlery Corporation, a highly profitable, $40 million manufacturer of licensed movie collectible swords and branded, private label and licensed sporting cutlery. He led the development of its Arrowhead manufacturing subsidiary, sourcing private label products for key distributors, retailers and catalog accounts and was named division President.
Jim has assisted companies in the development of key infrastructure to support their initial entry into large warehouse club and discount retail accounts. He has also helped client without export experience to establish strong overseas markets (Eastern Europe). Jim has significant experience in the acquisition and development of licensing programs, including successful initial negotiation and renewals with Harley-Davidson, Stanley Tools, Ford Motor Company and most major movie studios, including New Line, and Paramount.
Before joining United, Jim was Chief Financial Officer of National Seating Corporation, a $135 million tier-1 manufacturer of automotive seating. His prior financial roles were in the automotive retail industry.
Jim received his B.S. in Finance and Accounting with Honors from University of Tennessee. back»
